Aviar is an augmented reality application designed to help pilots view air traffic better. I was able to access position data of planes by a technology aviation uses, called ADS-B. We used Unity for taking ADS-B data points and converting them to graphical objects. AR glass used was ODG’s R7.

As you can see on this map’s information density, especially approaching dense air traffic areas, like close to busy airports, can be very scary for pilots. Aim of this project was to simplify this dense data, initially for private pilots.
